Aliyev should not be ascribed omnipotence. - On February 7, 2024, extraordinary presidential elections will be held in Azerbaijan, whereas the regular presidential elections are scheduled for 2025. - The first impression is that it relates to the same year's presidential elections in Russia and the United States. There is no doubt about Putin's re-election. Aliyev will probably work for Donald Trump to win in the USA. - Why is Aliyev going to the early elections? In your opinion, how close and realistic is the signing of the peace treaty? - Armenia and Azerbaijan were not in a formal war to sign a peace treaty. Any agreement should be titled "Relationship Agreement". A package solution is impossible; therefore, Armenian diplomacy should propose that the parties sign a framework agreement on establishing relations and leave the rest of the issues to be settled by separate contracts.
