The USA has not transferred the latest Abrams tanks to Ukraine but older models. Thus, according to Associated Press, Ukraine will be able to receive tanks in 8-10 months. Initially, it was planned that the US would transfer 31 M1A2 Abrams to Ukraine, but their production and delivery will take 1-2 years. Abrams' old model, M1A1, is already in the US Army. They can be in Ukraine until the end of 2023.
