“We raise the issue of prisoners with international partners.” HRD

The guest of Radar Armenia's "Radar Conversation" program is Human Rights Defender Anahit Manasyan. She referred to the processes taking place in Tavush, spoke about the alarms about the use of force by law enforcement agencies, the cases of obstructing the work of journalists, the rights of prisoners kept in Baku, people kept in penitentiary institutions, as well as the complaints received by forcibly displaced people from Nagorno-Karabakh. According to Anahit Manasyan, the people of Tavush should be understood from a human and emotional point of view. "We have recorded all the problems that concern the residents of Tavush." Speaking about the problems of prisoners and detained persons in Baku, the HRD noted that he sent an official letter to the HRD of Azerbaijan but did not receive a response. "We have not discussed the issues with Azerbaijan's Ministry of Human Rights. We constantly raise the issue of captives with our international partners, and we receive complaints about various problems from those displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh. We receive many alerts about ill-treatment of people in state bodies."
