President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan visited the "Rusal Armenal" factory that produces aluminum foil. Accompanied by the factory's general director, Artur Zakaryan, the President toured the production facilities and became acquainted with the company's activities, technological capabilities, and production conditions. At the end of the tour, the President of the Republic had a working consultation with the factory's management. They discussed the company's development opportunities, existing challenges, and ways to solve them. They also referenced the factory's upcoming initiatives and plans. The President of the Republic emphasized the importance of the normal operation of a large industrial enterprise. Then, President Vahagn Khachaturyan visited the "Yerevan Jewelry Factory." The President toured the factory's workshops and became acquainted with the full cycle of production of gold and silver jewelry, starting from the development of ingots to the receipt of the final product. The President paid special attention to the environmental protection systems and the latest technological solutions used in the factory. After visiting Yerevan Jewelry Factory, President Vahagn Khachaturyan visited Synopsis Armenia, where he met with the company's management and had a working discussion. Director of Synopsis Armenia Hovik Musayelyan presented the President of the Republic with details about the organization's current programs and activities. During the conversation, the company's achievements and successes in high-tech, education, and related fields, as well as the problems in the field and the possibilities of their solution, were discussed. The operational cooperation of high-tech companies and Armenian higher educational institutions and the expansion of joint programs aimed at training specialists were highlighted at the meeting. The President of the Republic, Vahagn Khachaturyan, summarized the results of the tours made to "Rusal Armenal," "Yerevan Jewelry Factory," and "Synopsys Armenia" companies with a brief briefing. "I pay particular attention to the processing industry and the share of the processing industry in the industry. According to the January-February and January-March figures, there was 30 percent economic growth in that area. The industry's main driver of economic growth is jewelry and diamond work. It is also important to be interested in production capacity—to what extent we have created conditions in the economy for investments to be made in specific production," the president noted. The President also referred to the border demarcation process between Armenia and Azerbaijan in Tavush. "The processes taking place in Tavush between the villages of Voskepar, Baghanis, Kirants, and Berkaber are aimed at clarifying the borders between Armenia and Azerbaijan for the first time. Finally, we must realize that if there is a state, the state must have borders, and the future of that state will depend on how well the borders with its neighbors are adjusted. Otherwise, there is always a danger that must be neutralized. It is not necessary to wait and neutralize that danger when it already exists, but when it is not there, it is in a passive state," the President said in particular. The President noted that in many cases, the government cannot present details of the negotiation process to the residents of the villages in the demarcation area, as this may hinder the final solution. "But I assure and believe that we are much more interested and bear responsibility for the happening events. And the most important thing for us is to ensure the safety of the people who live in those villages," said Vahagn Khachaturyan. "In the past, unfortunately, we left the problems to the future and even publicly announced it several times. There was a well-known thesis regarding the non-resolution of the Karabakh problem: "We can live like this for another 100 years." We saw that it is not possible to live like that for 100 years because times and situations change, and what can be done today, we cannot do tomorrow. It is necessary to be able to neutralize the dangers in time. Now the time has come, and we will go in that direction," said the President, urging the citizens to trust the government's actions and not to give in to those provocations, which often aim to play on their feelings and do not correspond to reality.
