The Russian army is preparing for a big attack at the beginning of summer. If the US does not block military aid to Ukraine before then, the enemy's operation will become a severe problem for the armed forces of Ukraine. According to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), American assistance is vital to the defense forces' ability to defend against current and future Russian offensives that will begin later this spring and summer.
