New projects will be implemented within the framework of cooperation established between Yerevan and Tehran. Summarizing the results of the visit during a regular working meeting, Mayor Sargsyan informed that, taking into account the experience of the capital of Iran, an agreement was reached to carry out joint work in the direction of the development of the Yerevan metro. It should be noted that today the Tehran metro has a network of 250 km, 143 operating stops, and transports about 2 million passengers daily. Yerevan Municipality stated that in the cultural sphere, two more capital cities are considering several projects.
