According to the RA Law "On Holidays and Memorial Days", the last Saturday of April is celebrated as the Citizens' Day of the Republic of Armenia, which this year will be held on April 25. Events dedicated to Citizens' Day will take place in 100 settlements of the RA under the title "We are our state". The events will be implemented in 3 components: education, youth, and culture. Education: Students in all general education institutions of the RA will implement educational projects under the title "We are our state". Project work is already underway; a summary will be provided on April 20. Within the framework of the projects, students study various problems of their settlement and community, proposing solutions that, in their opinion, will strengthen the state, the homeland, their settlement, and community. Videos of up to 3 minutes each will be prepared on the completed project work, and on Citizens' Day, all schools will publish them on their Facebook pages. Youth: Lectures on the state, the institution of the citizen, social justice, and a society based on the idea of ​​a legal state will be held with young people, accompanied by questions and answers. The main goal is to consolidate civic values in the minds of young people, to appreciate the concepts of "independence", "identity", "statehood", "civic education", and to foster responsible behavior towards the state, and to conduct conceptual discussions. The lectures will be held in 100 settlements across 12 administrative districts of Yerevan and 10 regions of the Republic of Armenia (see attached list). The speakers will be representatives of state authorities, figures with great contributions to state-building, great achievements in their fields, well-known figures in the public, individuals engaged in active public activity and who have ensured tangible, positive changes for different groups of society as a result of their activities, figures who have achieved obvious successes in the fields of education, science, sports, culture, and participants in the "Hero of Our Times" project. Culture: Concert events are planned in the cities of Maralik and Vardenis.
